1. The Expert Council is a consultative body of the Innovative Technologies Contest “IDEAS - TO LIFE!” which identifies the conformity of the Entries with criteria of patentability and others stipulated in the Criteria of Entries' Evaluation.

2. The Expert Council shall be formed for conducting technical examination of the Entries.

3. The Expert Council is comprised of scientists and experts in different branches of science, technique and technology, scientific elite representing all branches relating to the nominations of the Contest (categories of the entries).

The composition of the Expert Council shall be approved of by the Organizer of the Contest (hereinafter "the Organizer") and published on the official website of the Contest.

4. In their work the Expert Council and its every member shall keep to the provisions of the Constitution of the Innovative Technologies Contest “IDEAS - TO LIFE!”, Privacy Policy Statement, decisions of the Organizer, present Rules and current legislation of Ukraine.

5. The members of the Expert Council shall have the right to remuneration prescribed by an appropriate decision of the Organizer in case that is compatible with their public status, and the membership in the Expert Council is not an official duty of such person.

6. With a view to performing technical examination of the Entries the Expert Council shall be divided into expert groups in accordance with the nominations of the Contest (categories of the entries).

The expert groups shall consist at least of 2 experts each; while examining the Entries each expert acts independently from another.

7. The Organizing Committee of the Contest shall provide technical support and arrange the work of the expert groups.

8. The members of the expert groups (the experts) shall have the right to request the Organizer (the Organizing Committee) to provide the information concerning their competence.

9. Each expert shall analyze and evaluate the Entries in conformity with the Constitution of the Innovative Technologies Contest “IDEAS - TO LIFE!”, present Rules and Criteria of the Entries' Evaluation, and provide the Organizing Committee with his/her conclusion drawn up in a protocol (the form is established by the Organizer).

The Organizing Committee shall notify experts in writing about the deadline of submitting the protocol at least one month before such a date.

10. In case the Organizer makes an appropriate decision the joint session of the Expert Council may be held.

The Organizing Committee shall notify in writing the members of the Expert Council about the date, place and agenda at least 15 days before the opening of the session.

11. The members of the Expert Council shall be liable for the competence of the conclusions concerning the Entries received for evaluation.

12. The members of the Expert Council (the experts) shall be obliged to keep to the Privacy Policy Statement concerning any information obtained within the Contest, including, but not limiting to, the information contained in the Description of the Innovative Project (Idea) and the documents attached thereto as provided for in the Privacy Policy Statement.
