Gritsenko Vladimir Illich is a Director of the International centre of science-educational of information technologies and systems of the National academy of sciences of Ukraine and the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, laureate of the State Prize of the USSR, twice laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in science and engineering; recipient of the Glushkov Prize, several Diplomas of Verchovna Rada of Ukraine, high governmental rewards, Merit of the President of Ukraine “Order for the merits” of III rank.

Vladimir Illich is a scientist well known in industry of informatics, intellectual information technologies and systems, and its application in industry, economy, social sphere. Author over 300 scientific works, including 13 monographs. He is the editor-in-chief of “Upravlyayuschie sistemy i mashyny” journal, member of the National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO; member of Consultative Council on Informatization of the Verchovna Rada of Ukraine,  member of  the commission in the Committee for State Prizes in the field of Science and Engineering at the President of Ukraine; chairman of the Technical committee of standardization of Ukraine "Informatsijni technologii".
