Sandul Valery Yakovych (Member of the Expert Council)
Valery Sandul was born on February, 5 in 1945 in village of Sharyn of Uman region, Cherkaska oblast in family of office worker.
In 1963 graduated from school ¹1 in city of Uman.
Upon graduation he worked as odd-job worker from October 1963 till August 1964.
Since September 1964 and till June 1970 he was a student of mechanic and mathematical (after its reorganization - the cybernetics) faculty of the Kyiv State University.
Upon graduation from the university he worked in the Kyiv office of project-assembling works of Central research and manufacturing association “Kaskad” as engineer and subsequently as senior engineer, chief of sector, chief project designer, leading specialist, and section manager until January 1986.
From January 1986 till February 1989 worked as chief engineer, head of communication and automated systems office of RATAU (Radiotelegraph agency of Ukraine) at Council of Ministers of Ukraine.
From March 1989 till October 1991 worked in IPRI (Institute for Information Recording) Academy of Sciences of Ukraine as head of Center of computer information.
From March 1992 till February 2000 worked as the deputy of director of Institute of System Researches and Information Technologies of UASNP (Ukrainian Academy of Sciences of National Progress).
Since 2000 he has been working as the director of Institute of System Analysis and Computer Technological Systems of Ukrainian Academy of Sciences (ISACTS UAS).
A recipient of the State Award of Ukraine in field of science and engineering in 2005.
Married. Has two sons. Alexander – born in1970, graduated from the Kyiv State University, works as leading specialist in ISACTS. Sergei – born in 1974, graduated from the Kyiv State University, works as head of department in ISACTS.
