“Challenges and prospects of innovative technologies development and implementation in Ukraine”

Today every proactive and thinking person is highly concerned about prospects of the future development of Ukraine. There is no simple answer to the question what can shift our life and our country towards sustainable economic development.

But everybody, from a student to a top manager, now understand that the only way to challenge globalization and withstand keen competition is to encourage and implement innovations.

To give the chance to talented students, inventors, scientists and engineers to implement their innovative technologies, projects and ideas International Charitable Foundation “Technobridge” has launched Ukrainian National Program for Innovations Support and Development.

The Program envisages an interlacing of unique scientific, public, informative and, of course, competitive events aimed at creating an active channel for communication and cooperation among inventors, leading scientists, manufacturers of hi-tech products, research and development centers, higher education establishments, investors and mass media.

The Program started with  Ukrainian National Forum “Challenges and prospects of innovative technologies development and implementation in Ukraine”.

The Forum was attended by representatives of the majority of technical and specialized higher education establishments, research centers of Ukraine, top managers of hi-tech products manufacturers, mass media, scientists, inventors, engineers, and talented youth. General information partner of the Ukrainian National Forum was the business weekly journal  "KONTRAKTY".

Events held within the Forum:

- The Forum itself – a global discussion dedicated to challenges and prospects of innovative technologies development and implementation in Ukraine.

- Five debating-societies:

Software;

Hardware;

Internet and networks;

Computer (information) security;

Telecommunications (mobile and non-mobile tecnologies).

- “Scientific, practical and legal aspects of intellectual property rights protection” seminar with the assistance of leading experts of the State Research Institute of Intellectual Property of the Academy of Law Sciences of Ukraine.

The  Forum shall result  in recommendations for the President and the Government of Ukraine containing proposals  on alterations and ammendments to the current legislation in sphere of innovations and innovative activities. Such recommendations shall be available for review in the nearest future.
