Russian writer and polymath who made important contributions to literature, education, and science |
Lomonosov was the first person to record the freezing of mercury, and to hypothesize the existence of an atmosphere on Venus based on his observation of the transit of Venus of 1761 in a small observatory near his house in Petersburg. In 1745 he published a catalogue of over 3,000 minerals, and in 1760 he explained the formation of icebergs. |

The Contest’s objective as well as the same of mind, as Albert Einstein once said, is to bring the miracle into being. And not just to bring, but to turn it to advantage of the whole civilization.
The Contest is targeted at the selection of most technically advanced and commercially promising innovative ideas and projects which shall be subsequently backed (in addition to the Prize), put into production and promoted in the market.
The first stage of Ukrainian Innovative Technologies Contest "Ideas - to life!" was held during April-October 2006 and as the result - the first winners were announced. A detailed information regarding the competition aftermath can be found at "Ideas - to life! 2006" section.
In 2007 International Foundation "Technobridge" became co-organizer of IT Stars' 07 Competition.
International Foundation "Technobridge" informs on temporarily suspension of applications acceptance for Ukrainian Innovative Technologies Contest "Ideas - to life!". Meanwhile the experts of International Foundation "Technobridge" continue the analysis of already submitted applications with the purpose of searching the ways of their practical and comercial realization. |
